Parma signs Argentine striker Jose David Romero from Tigre
Parma Calcio 1913 has officially completed the permanent signing of Argentine striker Jose David Romero from Tigre. The deal is reported to be worth approximately €7 million, with an additional €3 million in performance-related bonuses.
Romero, born in 2003, has signed a contract with the Italian club that runs until June 30, 2031. The striker arrives in Europe following a successful period in South America, including stints with Talleres de Córdoba, Unión La Calera in Chile, and Tigre in Argentina. During the current season, Romero has recorded 11 goals and two assists in 19 appearances.
His arrival at Parma serves as a replacement for Mateo Pellegrino, who recently transferred to Fiorentina. Romero was seen at the Tardini stadium to observe the team's match against Catania shortly after finalizing his paperwork.
