Italy allocates regional funds for infrastructure, education, and tourism

Various Italian municipalities and regional governments have announced significant funding allocations for local development, infrastructure, and social services.

In Puglia, the regional government approved a 4.32 million euro strategy to promote agroalimentary and tourism excellence through integrated marketing and international branding. In Lazio, 3.5 million euros have been allocated to support small municipalities, focusing on school services and the revitalization of senior centers.

Other notable investments include 4.8 million euros for urban reconstruction in Nocria following the 2016 earthquake, and 3.59 million euros in Sorrento to fund a mechanized pedestrian link between the port and the city center. Educational improvements are also a priority, with 600,000 euros for school furniture in Telese Terme and 470,000 euros for early childhood education facilities in Monteforte Irpino and Mercogliano.

Additionally, Parma has tripled its resources to 300,000 euros for urban redevelopment in its historic center, while Trani received 45,000 euros to promote reading through its municipal library network.
