Parma wins third Golden Eagle Cup title

Parma has won the third edition of the Golden Eagle Cup after defeating Hellas Verona 3-0 in the final. The tournament concluded at the Stadio Briamasco in Trento, featuring 30 participating teams.

To reach the final, Parma defeated Fiorentina in the semifinals following a penalty shootout after a draw in regulation time. Defending champions Hellas Verona reached the final by defeating Roma 4-1. Fiorentina secured third place by beating Roma 2-0 in the consolation match. Other notable rankings included Atalanta in fifth place, followed by Espanyol and Juventus. In a significant upset during the knockout stage, Dro Alto Garda eliminated Inter in the round of 16.
