Parmahans Acharya urges PM Modi to make Yogi Adityanath lifetime member of Ram Temple Trust

On July 12, the head of the Tapasya hermitage in Ayodhya, Jagadguru Parmahans Acharya, wrote to Prime Minister Narendra Modi requesting that new appointments to the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust be made with utmost caution and transparency to preserve the temple’s dignity.

The letter specifically asked that Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath be appointed as a lifetime member of the trust, arguing that his inclusion would strengthen management and security. It also sought representation for senior RSS leaders Mohan Bhagwat, Champat Rai, and prominent saints such as Devendra Prasad Acharya and Vaidehi Vallabh Sharan.

The Acharya warned that some political forces might try to influence the trust and urged that only qualified, trustworthy, and devout individuals be given membership, to avoid future disputes or damage to the temple’s image.
