Parnassus Cancún Hotel Workers Near Property Seizure to Recover Wages

The Confederación Revolucionaria de Obreros y Campesinos (CROC) announced that a favorable labor court ruling for the striking employees of the Parnassus Cancún hotel is now awaiting the legal deadline. Once the 15‑day period prescribed by law passes, authorities can begin the process to seize the hotel property to satisfy unpaid salaries, benefits and tips owed to the workers.

CROC leaders Isaías González Cuevas, Martín de la Cruz Gómez and legal coordinator Carime Albarrán Toralva said the employer has filed an appeal, but no official notice of the amparo has been received. The union pledged continued support for the workers and their families until full compensation is secured.
