Parookaville 2026 attracts 225,000 visitors to Weeze Airport

The 11th edition of the Parookaville electronic music festival took place from July 17 to 19 at Weeze Airport, attracting approximately 225,000 visitors. The event featured over 300 acts, including headliners such as Armin van Buuren, Hardwell, W&W, The Chainsmokers, and Timmy Trumpet.

Meyer Sound provided audio systems for five different stages: the Mainstage, Bill’s Factory, Cloud Factory, Power Plant, and Time Lab. The technical implementation and production design were managed by POOLgroup, led by production manager Robert Sommer, with audio planning handled by technical directors Jan Flerlage and Simon Jermer. A team of approximately 40 sound engineers and technicians coordinated the setup to ensure high-quality sound that integrated seamlessly with the festival's unique 'City of Dreams' stage designs.
