Paros police dismantle organized crime group behind residential burglaries

Police in Paros have dismantled an organized crime group responsible for a series of residential burglaries on the island. The operation resulted in the arrest of four individuals: three foreign nationals aged 20, 38, and 50, and a 23-year-old Greek man.

Authorities have solved 25 cases of completed or attempted thefts occurring between July 29 and August 21, 2026. The investigation involved methodical data collection and field surveillance, leading to the identification of the suspects.

During searches of a residence and three vehicles, police seized a significant amount of stolen property, including clothing, footwear, accessories, gold jewelry, and watches. Cash seized included 44,565 euros, 440 British pounds, and 250 US dollars. Burglary tools and a vehicle were also confiscated. The suspects have been brought before the Prosecutor of First Instance in Syros.
