Parque Barrancas offers discounts for Chihuahua by UTMB runners

The Chihuahua State Government, through the Secretariat of Tourism, has announced that Parque Barrancas will offer a 25 percent discount on adventure activities to local runners participating in the Chihuahua by UTMB event. The promotion is valid from October 1 to 4, 2026, and includes one companion per runner. To redeem the discount, participants must present their registration folio at the ticket office.

Chihuahua by UTMB is part of the prestigious Ultra Trail Mont Blanc circuit and marks the second year the state has hosted the competition. The event, which takes place in the Sierra Tarahumara and the Barrancas del Cobre region, attracts runners from Mexico and around the world. Parque Barrancas serves as the central hub for the event, offering activities such as the Seven Ziplines Circuit, ZipRider, Via Ferrata, and the Aerial Forest.

The competition is part of the 30th anniversary celebrations of the Chihuahua International Adventure Tourism Festival (FITA), aiming to strengthen the region's reputation as a premier destination for adventure tourism and trail running.
