Parque de las Tejas installs giant dinosaur playground

A massive dinosaur-themed playground structure has begun installation at Parque de las Tejas in Córdoba, Argentina. Part of a comprehensive renovation project led by the Province, the structure stands 15 meters high, 9 meters long, and weighs 10 tons.

Designed for children aged 2 to 8, the two-story installation can accommodate up to 16 children simultaneously. The project aims to combine recreation with cognitive and physical development through climbing, exploration, and problem-solving. Due to its size, installation required a specialized crane with a 70-ton capacity and a 46-meter maximum height.

The structure is built with durable materials intended to withstand intensive use and various weather conditions, including reinforced plastic slides, steel rope nets, European-quality rubber spheres, and high-traffic nautical paint. It is located near Plaza Cielo Tierra, an existing dinosaur-themed educational park. The broader renovation includes other inclusive and sustainable features such as a wooden labyrinth with acrylic mirrors, a climbing dome, and pterodactyl-shaped swings.
