Parque O’Higgins festivities to be broadcast on open TV

The traditional festivities at Parque O’Higgins in Santiago, known as ‘La gran fonda de Chile’, will be broadcast on open television for the first time. Canal 13 has announced it will be the official media partner for the event, which is scheduled to take place on September 17, 18, and 19.

Hosted by Karla Constant and Pancho Saavedras, the broadcast will begin at 18:00 via digital platforms and continue on open television at 22:15. The event aims to allow citizens across the country to participate in the national holidays celebrations remotely. Santiago Mayor Mario Desbordes noted that the event will feature significant security and transportation support to accommodate families and children.
