Parral authorities conduct missing persons searches and recover stolen goods

Authorities in Hidalgo del Parral are conducting ongoing operations to locate missing persons. The Fiscalía de Distrito Zona Sur, coordinated by the Specialized Unit for the Investigation of Unlocated and Missing Persons, carried out interventions in strategic sectors of the city. This multidisciplinary effort included the Agencia Estatal de Investigación (AEI), the Comisión Ejecutiva de Atención a Víctimas (CEAVE), and the “10 de Octubre” Collective. Teams conducted interviews and distributed search notices and reward information at high-traffic locations, including the State Government Building, bus terminals, and the exit to Matamoros.

In a separate development regarding theft investigations in the region, several individuals voluntarily surrendered stolen goods to the AEI. Recovered items include electronic devices such as iPhones and laptops, televisions, clothing, and various construction tools, including drills and saws. These items have been placed at the disposal of the Public Ministry to facilitate their return to the rightful owners.
