Parral Municipality allocates $112.5 million for student scholarships

The Municipality of Parral has allocated $112.5 million in scholarships to support 281 students pursuing higher education, special education, sports, and technical training. The initiative aims to alleviate the financial burden of tuition, materials, and supplies required for various professional and technical degrees.

The funds were distributed via electronic transfer following a ceremony at the Municipal Theater attended by Mayor Patricio Ojeda and the Municipal Council. Beneficiaries include students from various institutions, such as the Universidad Andrés Bello, who noted the importance of these resources for covering specific academic costs.
