Parshad Esmaeili to film second season of ‘Neo Match Up’

Comedienne Parshad Esmaeili will return for a second season of the gameshow ‘Neo Match Up’ on ZDFneo. The new season will consist of six episodes, an increase from the four episodes produced for the first season.

Production for the new episodes is scheduled to take place in Berlin-Adlershof from September 4 to September 7, 2026. Esmaeili will continue her dual role as both the host and a participant in the challenges. The show features guests including Teddy Teclebrhan, Maraam Tarraf, Enissa Amani, and Tahsim Durgun.

The format, produced by 1Take Films, focuses on human perception and first impressions. The renewal follows solid viewership performance in the 14-49 age demographic during the initial run.
