Parship survey reveals gender differences in sexual preferences

A survey conducted by market research institute Innofact on behalf of the dating service Parship has revealed differences in sexual priorities and openness between men and women. The study, which surveyed nearly 3,000 individuals, highlights that emotional connection is a prerequisite for good sex for 61.7 percent of respondents, a sentiment more prevalent among women (66.1 percent) than men (57.7 percent).

Regarding boundaries, 54.3 percent of women reported clearly asserting their limits, compared to only 32.9 percent of men. Conversely, men were more likely to communicate their needs and desires openly (45.8 percent) than women (38.7 percent). The data also indicates that men are generally more willing to experiment; 54.2 percent of men expressed a willingness to try new practices for their partner, while only 28.2 percent of women shared this openness. Additionally, 25.4 percent of men expressed openness to threesomes, compared to 11.5 percent of women.
