Parsons secures $70M air defense contract for US Air Force

Parsons Corporation has secured a $70 million task order under the U.S. Air Force’s Air Base Air Defense (ABAD) contract. The agreement focuses on the USAFE-AFAFRICA region and involves the integration, testing, deployment, maintenance, and operational transition of point defense systems. These systems are intended to protect personnel, aircraft, and military infrastructure from aerial threats, including counter unmanned aircraft systems (CUAS).

The contract has a four-year performance period with three optional 12-month extensions.

In a separate development, Parsons is launching chemical security training programs in Malaysia, Indonesia, and the Philippines. This initiative is part of a new Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) framework agreement aimed at improving detection and response capabilities to chemical threats.
