Parti Québécois Leads Quebec 2026 Election Polls

A recent Pallas Data poll conducted on August 1‑2, 2026 of 1,121 Quebec voters shows the Parti Québécois (PQ) under leader Paul St‑Pierre Plamondon at 31% overall support, the highest among parties. Among francophone voters, the PQ reaches 34%, ahead of the Liberal Party at 27% and the governing Coalition Avenir Québec (CAQ) at 19%.

The same poll places Plamondon as the preferred premier with 26% of respondents, ahead of CAQ premier Christine Fréchette (19%) and Liberal leader Charles Milliard (17%). Dissatisfaction with the CAQ government rises to 59%. In the Quebec City region, the Conservative Party of Quebec leads with 31% while the PQ is second at 25%. The provincial election is scheduled for 5 October 2026.
