On March 29, a partial solar eclipse covered about 20 % of the Sun’s disc over Sweden. The event was hosted at a local observatory where staff prepared telescopes equipped with H‑alpha filters and lent solar‑eclipse glasses to visitors of all ages. Media from Sydsvenska Dagbladet and Sveriges Television (SVT) recorded the phenomenon, which reached its maximum coverage at 12:22 CET before the Sun fully reappeared at 13:13 CET.
