Partido Popular announces municipal candidates for Montilla and Valsequillo

The Partido Popular (PP) has announced its candidates for upcoming municipal elections in Montilla and Valsequillo.

In Montilla, the party has presented María José Tejada as its candidate for Mayor. Tejada, who has served as a councilwoman since June 2023 and as the municipal group spokesperson since July 2025, received support from Antonio Repullo, the Secretary General of the Andalusian PP. Repullo emphasized a municipalist model focused on management and proximity to citizens.

In Valsequillo, Gran Canaria, the party has selected Tamara López to lead its candidacy. López, a social education professional with experience in community intervention, sports, and culture, was chosen through consensus by the local committee and endorsed by the island leadership. Her platform aims to address administrative paralysis and focus on pragmatic local needs.
