Partido Popular names Iván Vega as Gáldar mayoral candidate

The Partido Popular (PP) has announced Iván Vega as its candidate for the Mayoralty of Gáldar for the 2027 municipal elections. The party aims to regain representation in the City Council and provide an alternative to the current Bloque Nacionalista Rural (BNR) administration, which has held power for two decades.

Vega is a teacher and director at the CEIP Alcalde Diego Trujillo. He also serves as the president of the Nuestra Señora de Fátima Neighborhood Association. The PP's strategy in Gáldar focuses on improving public services, supporting local commerce, and fostering economic and social development.
