Partito Democratico appoints commissioner for Cosenza

The Democratic Party (PD) in Calabria is facing internal restructuring following the Festa dell’Unità in Lamezia Terme. Igor Taruffi, the national head of organization for the PD, has appointed Claudio Stefanazzi as the commissioner for the Cosenza Federation.

This decision follows months of internal conflict, including resignations, disputes over majorities, and accusations within the local party structure. The appointment of Stefanazzi aims to address the systemic fragmentation within the Cosenza branch, overriding local attempts to appoint a new secretary through existing party numbers.
