Partito Democratico modifies Festa dell’Unità due to weather damage

The traditional Festa dell’Unità organized by the Partito Democratico has been modified due to severe weather conditions. Following heavy hailstorms on August 28 that caused damage to local parks and the Colonie Padane, the 81st edition of the event in its traditional form has been canceled.

Despite the cancellation of the main festival, organizers intend to preserve key political debates. The rescheduled program includes sessions with national figures such as former police chief Franco Gabrielli, who will discuss urban security, and Roberto Speranza, who will present his book. Other scheduled participants include Andrea Orlando and Chiara Braga. These meetings aim to address topics ranging from democratic history and women's suffrage to regional waste management plans and upcoming electoral perspectives.
