Partizan Belgrade appoints Aleksandar Stanojević as head coach

FK Partizan has officially appointed Aleksandar Stanojević as its new head coach, marking his fourth separate term with the club. Stanojević succeeds Saša Ilić, who reached a mutual agreement to terminate his contract following a string of poor results, including a 2-0 defeat to Čukarički.

Partizan currently sits in tenth place in the Serbian Superliga with 11 points after 12 matches. During his presentation, Stanojević emphasized his focus on discipline and immediate results to stabilize the team, noting that he is prepared to take over without an adaptation period. He is scheduled to lead his first match this Wednesday in an away game against Radnički Niš.

Sporting Director Radoslav Petrović expressed gratitude to Ilić, describing him as a club legend and a key reason for his own return to the organization. Stanojević’s coaching staff will include Aleksandar Gicov, Miloš Podunavac, and Bojan Stamatović.
