FK Partizan defeats Tobol to advance in Conference League

FK Partizan secured a place in the UEFA Conference League play-offs after defeating Kazakhstan's Tobol 2-1 in the second leg of their third-round qualification match. Following a dominant 3-0 victory in the first leg in Belgrade, Partizan won the tie with an aggregate score of 5-1.

Tobol took an early lead in the seventh minute through an Islam Česnokov volley. Partizan responded in the 47th minute when Stefan Mitrović scored with a header following a corner from Milan Vukotić. In stoppage time, Šaka Traore secured the victory for the Serbian side with a powerful shot assisted by Demba Sek.

Prior to the match, Partizan coach Saša Ilić emphasized the need for team discipline and concentration, noting that Tobol is a strong home team. The victory advances Partizan to the play-off round, where they are scheduled to face Spanish side Getafe.
