Partizan coach Sasha Ilić celebrates Conference League qualification

Coach Sasha Ilić of Serbian club Partizan said he is pleased with the team’s 1‑0 away win against Luxembourg side UNA Strasen in Luxembourg, which secured progression to the third qualifying round of the UEFA Conference League.

The victory followed a 4‑0 home win over the same opponents in Belgrade. Ilić highlighted the importance of the young players who featured, noting their nerves in the first half and improvement in the second. He praised goal‑scorer Bogdan Kostić for his 48th‑minute goal and warned that losing simple passes could be problematic in future matches.

Partizan will face Kazakh club Tobol in the next round, with the first leg scheduled for 6 August in Belgrade and the return leg a week later in Kazakhstan.
