Partizan goalkeeper Marko Milošević faces benching controversy
Feđa Dudić, the coach of Radnički Kragujevac, has publicly criticized the decision by Partizan Belgrade coach Saša Ilić to bench goalkeeper Marko Milošević. Following a 2-2 draw against Zemun, Milošević was removed from the starting lineup despite being a key player for the club last season.
Dudić argued that Milošević deserves more credit and patience, noting his significant contributions to the club’s financial success and performance in European competitions last year. Dudić drew parallels to his own coaching style, emphasizing that individual mistakes should not immediately result in a player losing their position, especially given Milošević’s track record of saving penalties and crucial one-on-one situations.
While Partizan has seen success in the Conference League qualifiers, their domestic SuperLiga performance has been inconsistent. The club's management has indicated that they will resign if the team fails to reach the group stage of European competition.
