Partizan faces disciplinary crisis ahead of Železničar match

Ahead of their Serbian SuperLiga match in Pančevo, Partizan coach Saša Ilić and Železničar coach Radomir Koković have addressed team dynamics and upcoming competition.

Partizan is facing internal disciplinary issues following an incident where winger Demba Sek allegedly insulted and physically attacked teammate Nikola Čumića during training. Ilić confirmed that Sek has been removed from the first team indefinitely because he refused to apologize to his teammates. Ilić stated that the club must “change its DNA” regarding player discipline and admitted he should have acted sooner on recurring issues.

Železničar coach Radomir Koković expressed respect for Partizan’s individual quality, noting their ability to compete in Europe, but expects a highly competitive match. He noted that while Partizan has shown inconsistent domestic results, they remain a formidable opponent capable of winning against anyone in the league.

Železničar enters the match in a series of good results, while Partizan currently sits in 10th place with 11 points, compared to Železničar’s 17 points in 4th place.
