Partners Group launches global multi-sector private credit fund

Partners Group has launched a global, multi-sector, evergreen private credit income strategy aimed at institutional and private wealth investors. The fund seeks to provide high single-digit to low double-digit returns, primarily through income generation.

The strategy utilizes a diversified portfolio that includes senior direct lending, credit secondaries, fund financing, royalties, opportunistic credit, and liquid credit. It focuses on developed markets across Europe, North America, and the Asia-Pacific region.

The fund is designed with a flexible approach to navigate changing market conditions. For instance, if reduced merger and acquisition activity limits direct lending, the strategy can pivot toward credit secondaries or net asset value financing. Andrew Bellis, global head of private credit at Partners Group, noted that combining complementary strategies allows the firm to capitalize on varying market structures and lending dynamics across different regions.
