Parung Panjang: Pickup assistant killed in truck collision

A pickup assistant died following a collision with a Mitsubishi Colt Diesel Crane truck in Parung Panjang, Bogor Regency, on Saturday, September 5, 2026. The incident occurred at approximately 10:30 AM on Jalan Raya Sudamanik while the victim was arranging a wood load on a Daihatsu Grand Max pickup.

According to Ipda Ares Rahman of the Bogor Police, the truck was traveling from Tenjo toward Jagabaya when it reportedly grazed the victim on the left side of the road. The victim sustained severe injuries to the right thigh and leg, resulting in death at the scene. Police are currently investigating the driver and witnesses to determine the exact cause of the accident.
