PAS Band bassist Trisno dies from kidney failure

Trisno, whose full name was Bambang Sutrisno, was the bassist of the Indonesian rock group PAS Band. He died on 1 August 2026 at 14:47 WIB after a prolonged battle with kidney failure.

Bandmate and drummer Sandy said Trisno had been suffering from dizziness, leg swelling and a rapid decline in health for several weeks. He had initially avoided medical examinations, but was eventually taken to a hospital where his kidney function was measured at only 5 % before his condition worsened.

On 31 July, Sandy posted on Instagram asking fans to pray for Trisno while he remained in intensive care, highlighting the band's concern and the public appeal for support.
