PAS Band bassist Trisno dies in Bandung after severe kidney failure

Trisno, the bassist of Indonesian rock group PAS Band, passed away on 1 August 2026. Medical tests revealed his kidney function had dropped to just 5 percent, and he required dialysis in his final weeks.

Friends said his health had been declining for several years, with noticeable leg swelling and significant weight loss. Despite the symptoms, Trisno avoided thorough medical examinations until his condition worsened and he was hospitalized shortly before his death.

PAS Band announced that Trisno would be buried on 2 August at the TPU Cikutra public cemetery in Bandung. Drummer Sandy recalled their time together, while other artists, including singer‑songwriter Rizky Febian, posted condolences on social media, highlighting the loss felt across Indonesia’s music community.
