PAS Band bassist Trisno in ICU as kidney failure worsens

Trisno, the bassist of Indonesian rock group PAS Band, was hospitalized after his health deteriorated and is now being cared for in an intensive‑care unit. Band members reported that his condition had been declining for years, with swelling in his legs and weight loss, but he avoided comprehensive medical checks.

Doctors have diagnosed Trisno with end‑stage kidney failure, with only about five percent of kidney function remaining, and have begun regular dialysis while assessing the possibility of a kidney transplant. He also suffers from liver complications, high blood pressure and a brain blood clot that required surgery to prevent paralysis.
