Pas-de-Calais invests 9 million euros in Laventie school works

The Pas-de-Calais Departmental Council is investing 9 million euros into the extension and restructuring of the Collège du Pays de l’Allœu in Laventie. Jean-Claude Leroy, president of the council, and Blandine Drain, vice-president in charge of education, recently visited the site to inspect the progress of the works.

The project, which began in June 2023, is scheduled for completion in January 2025. Key improvements include an expanded boarding area, a restructured resource center (CDI), a new multipurpose room, and an enlarged dining hall with a restructured kitchen to accommodate more than 500 students.
