PAS Giannina draws 2-2 in final pre-season friendly against Makedonikos Siatistas

PAS Giannina concluded their summer pre-season preparations with a 2-2 friendly draw against Makedonikos Siatistas at the Siatista Municipal Stadium. Makedonikos took an early lead in the 31st minute through Garkas, but PAS responded quickly with goals from Sekoulidis and Kafenzis to take a 2-1 lead before the break.

In the second half, Makedonikos equalized in the 83rd minute via Bourdzos. PAS missed a chance to regain the lead when goalkeeper Botsaris saved a penalty taken by Metekidis. The match also saw Siatravanis substituted due to a minor injury, though he aims to be ready for the upcoming season opener against Anagennisi Arta.

Following the match, PAS Giannina coach Christos Raptis expressed dissatisfaction with the team's performance, noting recurring errors in the first defensive zone and a lack of focus during the first 30 minutes. Despite the result, Raptis emphasized the importance of the match for testing players and refining the team's 4-4-2 diamond formation ahead of the league start.
