PAS Giannina presents amateur sports departments for new season

PAS Giannina held a special event at the Zosimades National Stadium to present its various amateur sports departments ahead of the new season starting September 1. Napoleon Tsakanelis, president of the amateur club, emphasized the organization's status as one of the largest sports clubs in Northwest Greece and pledged continued growth.

Key departmental updates included:

- Swimming and Artistic Swimming: Three athletes are set to represent the club at the World Artistic Swimming Championships in Egypt. - Women's Basketball: Tolis Michail highlighted the team's presence in the top Greek division and European competitions. The team recently acquired player Rouba to cover for the injured Mujovic. - Men's Basketball: Represented by Giorgos Chirbas, the team competes in A1 ESKAVDE with the goal of promotion to National League 1. - Women's Volleyball: Coach Pavlina Vasiliou set a goal for the team to return to the A2 category, noting recent successes of athletes in national youth teams. - Fencing: Coach Andreas Karamanis presented the department's plans for the upcoming season.

Additionally, Giorgos Nasio has joined the club as the head of the Academies.
