PAS Giannina tops Greek technical swimming championships with 22 medals

PAS Giannina took part in the 2026 Greek National Technical Swimming Championships held at Lake Pamvotida with a squad of 24 swimmers and secured a total of 22 medals – five gold, seven silver and ten bronze. The club finished first in the overall points table, also topping the men’s category rankings and placing second in the combined men‑women and men‑only sub‑rankings.

Athletes from PAS Giannina claimed individual victories in the 3000‑metre and 1000‑metre double‑paddle events across men’s, youth, and children’s divisions, with the team occupying the top five spots in the children’s 3000‑metre race. The club also earned a third‑place finish in the 4×1000 m mixed relay. Following the championship, attention turns to the national team that will represent Greece at the World Technical Swimming Championships in Sarm el Seh, Egypt, from 30 October to 4 November.
