Pasar Senen Blok VI redevelopment to begin November 2026

Construction of the Pasar Senen Blok VI market in Central Jakarta is scheduled to begin in November 2026 using a fast-track method. The project is a collaboration between PT Best Green and Perumda Pasar Jaya, following a cooperation agreement signed in July 2026.

The redevelopment aims to complete the building within 15 months. The new structure will consist of four floors, each featuring parking areas, plus a rooftop containing a mosque, a multipurpose room, and additional parking. The facility is designed to accommodate approximately 1,700 business units, including stalls and kiosks.

Designed as a Transit-Oriented Development (TOD), the site will integrate with existing and planned transportation services, including trains, KRL, Transjakarta buses, and a future MRT station. Existing registered traders will receive priority rights for spaces in the new building at prices set by Perumda Pasar Jaya. During the construction period, traders will continue operations at a designated temporary shelter.
