Following a swearing-in ceremony on October 21, Bérubé will serve as the Minister of Culture, Heritage, Communications, and French Language, as well as the Minister responsible for the Bas-Saint-Laurent region.

During his first press conference in Rimouski on October 23, Bérubé emphasized that culture represents the national identity and the soul of a people. He expressed a commitment to being highly active across all artistic disciplines and stated his intention to support artists and engage younger generations with local cultural production.
