Pascal Feryn and Koen Wauters secure strong start in Fenix Rally

Belgian drivers Pascal Feryn and Koen Wauters achieved competitive results during the Fenix Rally prologue in Djerba. The 34.7-kilometer opening stage saw Feryn and co-driver Kurt Keysers finish second among the cars and seventh overall.

Koen Wauters and Tom De Leeuw finished third in the car category and eighth overall, trailing the stage winner, Magdalena Zaja, by 52 seconds. Zaja competed in a Toyota Hilux T1+, a more powerful version of the Toyota Hilux models used by the Belgian teams.

Feryn, who started one minute after Wauters, managed to finish 15 seconds ahead of his teammate. Both drivers expressed satisfaction with their performance, noting that the prologue served as a successful warm-up to establish rhythm and test the vehicles ahead of the official race stages.
