Paslogi launches quantum-resistant file encryption software

Paslogi Inc. has launched ‘Cryptan PQC Permanent License,’ a Windows-based file encryption and decryption software designed to withstand future quantum computing threats. The software implements the ‘ML-KEMpost-quantum cryptography (PQC) algorithm, which complies with standards set by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST).

Targeting professionals who handle highly sensitive information—such as lawyers, accountants, and tax specialists—the product aims to mitigate ‘Harvest Now, Decrypt Later’ (HNDL) attacks. It integrates with Paslogi’s ‘4Login’ smartphone app to provide a passwordless environment, reducing the risks associated with human error and traditional password management.

The software is available for purchase on Amazon.co.jp as a perpetual license, intended to simplify the transition away from legacy file-sharing methods like PPAP.
