PASOK conducts regional visit to Larissa and welcomes new MP

The PASOK political party conducted a two-day regional visit to Larissa on October 5 and 6. Led by Central Political Committee Secretary Giannis Vardakastanis and several MPs, the delegation met with Thessaly Regional Governor Dimitris Kouretas to discuss regional development and social reconstruction.

Key topics of discussion included the primary sector and livestock, specifically addressing sheep losses, the need for veterinary staffing, and the acceleration of irrigation and flood protection projects. The party also emphasized the importance of the National Health System (ESY) and the revision of the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) to ensure fair subsidies for farmers.

Separately, in the Greek Parliament, it was announced that MP Evangelos Apostolakis has officially joined the PASOK parliamentary group. The move followed formal correspondence sent to the Speaker of the Parliament by PASOK President Nikos Androulakis and Apostolakis himself.
