PASOK criticizes government spokesperson Pavlos Marinakis

PASOK spokesperson Kostas Tsoukalas has issued a sharp critique of government spokesperson Pavlos Marinakis, stating that if Marinakis is seeking partners to maintain “misery and decline,” he should look elsewhere.

Tsoukalas accused the New Democracy administration under Kyriakos Mitsotakis of prioritizing the profitability of monopolies at the expense of society. He further alleged that the current government has undermined institutions, weakened the judiciary, and led Greece to the bottom of the European Union in terms of economic productivity and citizen purchasing power.

The PASOK spokesperson also criticized the government for adopting policies previously condemned by the opposition, including the use of large surpluses and the implementation of the Katrougalos law, which the party had previously pledged to repeal.
