PASOK criticizes Mitsotakis government over economic instability

PASOK spokesperson Kostas Tsoukalas has launched a series of sharp criticisms against the New Democracy government, led by Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis. Tsoukalas argues that the administration has failed to address the rising cost of living, leading to increased inequality, low purchasing power, and stagnant productivity. He specifically criticized the government's management of European funds, alleging that administrative incapacity prevented the full absorption of Recovery and Resilience Facility resources for energy projects.

In addition to economic critiques, Tsoukalas outlined PASOK's policy platform, which includes a comprehensive plan for the agricultural sector. This plan focuses on reducing production costs through measures like capped electricity prices for farmers, tax exemptions on agricultural fuel, and improved water management to combat climate change. The party also emphasizes the need for regional development to address demographic issues and rural depopulation.

Regarding housing and social issues, PASOK has proposed measures to protect primary residences and address private debt. The party's stance is that it seeks a mandate for governance rather than just a protest vote, positioning itself as the primary alternative to the current administration in upcoming elections.
