PASOK leaders lambaste Greek PM Mitsotakis over broken pledges

PASOK president Nikos Androulaki criticised Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, accusing the government of recreating the 2023 political landscape and presenting the premier as the sole political choice. He argued that the administration failed to use Recovery Fund resources to improve citizens’ purchasing power, public health, education and democratic quality, and condemned its handling of the Greece‑Cyprus electricity link and its stance on non‑state, non‑profit universities.

PASOK spokesperson Kostas Tsoukala also attacked Mitsotakis, recalling the prime minister’s 2019 promises to fully repeal the Katrougalos law, cut pensions, and lower VAT. Tsoukala demanded accountability for the billions allegedly distributed without delivering on those promises, urging a stable government and political change.

Both officials framed the criticism as part of a broader call for policy revision and stronger opposition leadership.
