Avlonitis discusses potential PASOK coalitions with SYRIZA and ELAS

Greek politician Alexandros Avlonitis has clarified his stance regarding potential post-election coalitions for PASOK. Following initial remarks, Avlonitis emphasized that the primary goal is achieving political change and defeating New Democracy.

He stated that PASOK could engage in dialogue with the Greek Left Co-operation (ELAS), SYRIZA, and Zoi Konstantopoulou, provided that such cooperation serves the interest of forming a functional government. Avlonitis called for the democratic camp to unite around PASOK and its leader, Nikos Androulakis, focusing on a program with clear social and developmental goals.

In a separate political commentary, Panos Kammenos discussed the political landscape, suggesting that PASOK's voter base might shift toward Alexis Tsipras. He also commented on the potential for future tensions regarding Greece-Turkey relations and criticized the European Union's handling of the conflict in Ukraine.
