PASOK officials tour Cyclades to address island infrastructure

PASOK party officials are conducting an extensive tour of the Cyclades islands to address critical issues regarding island life, infrastructure, and local development.

In Santorini, PASOK President Nikos Androulakis has proposed the creation of a special account to collect the difference between the reduced and standard VAT rates. The goal is to ensure these funds return to each specific island to finance improvements in healthcare, education, transportation, and the environment.

In Syros, Anna Diamantopoulou, a member of the PASOK Political Council, is leading meetings with local authorities, the Chamber of Cyclades, the Neorio shipyard, and the General Hospital of Syros. Meanwhile, Dimitris Mantzos is conducting a tour of Tinos, which includes a visit to the Panhellenic Holy Institution of Evangelistria.
