PASOK outlines economic vision for Greece ahead of WEF

PASOK spokesperson Kostas Tsoukalas has outlined the party's economic vision ahead of the World Economic Forum in September. The proposal focuses on transforming Greece into a more productive and equitable nation over the next decade.

Key pillars of the vision include increasing investments, boosting productivity, strengthening small and medium-sized enterprises, and modernizing the primary sector. Tsoukalas emphasized the need for well-paid labor and an efficient state that utilizes artificial intelligence and new technologies to reduce bureaucracy and increase transparency.

The party proposes replacing the current Superfund with a National Wealth Fund to drive large-scale productive investments, alongside the establishment of a strong Development Bank to support small and medium businesses. Tsoukalas criticized the current government for failing to utilize available European resources and called for a new social alliance involving workers, farmers, youth, and retirees to achieve these structural changes.
