PASOK pledges to abolish imputed taxation for professionals

PASOK spokesperson Kostas Tsoukalas has criticized the New Democracy government regarding its taxation policies for self-employed professionals. Tsoukalas accused the administration of overtaxing the middle class through imputed taxation and high indirect taxes.

He challenged the government's recent intention to reduce tax thresholds, suggesting it is an attempt to mitigate a policy that was not part of the New Democracy 2023 program. Tsoukalas stated that PASOK is committed to the immediate abolition of imputed taxation in favor of a system based on actual income.
