Paspampres deploys 1,147 personnel for Indonesia's 81st Independence Day
The Presidential Security Force (Paspampres) has announced its readiness to secure the 81st Independence Day celebrations of the Republic of Indonesia in 2026. Major General TNI Edwin Adrian Sumantha, Commander of Paspampres, led a readiness parade for the VVIP Security Task Force at the Paspampres Headquarters to ensure all personnel, equipment, and operational systems are optimized for the state agenda.
A total of 1,147 personnel and advanced military hardware will be deployed across various events. The security breakdown includes 151 personnel for the Honor Roll and Holy Reflection on August 14, 277 personnel for the DPR/MPR session on August 15, and 294 personnel for the flag-raising and lowering ceremonies on August 17. Additionally, 205 personnel are assigned to the People's Party, 70 to the Paskibraka team, and 150 to the ceremony troop.
