Pasqal debuts on Nasdaq following $360 million SPAC merger

French quantum computing specialist Pasqal began trading on the Nasdaq on August 28, 2026, under the ticker symbol PSQL. The company went public following a business combination with the special purpose acquisition company (SPAC) Bleichroeder Acquisition Corp. II.

The transaction provides Pasqal with approximately $360 million in cash to accelerate the manufacturing and deployment of its neutral-atom quantum processing units (QPUs) and to advance its roadmap toward fault-tolerant quantum computing. The company is valued at approximately $2 billion, representing a significant multiple of its 2025 revenue of €16.5 million.

Co-founded by 2022 Nobel laureate Alain Aspect, Pasqal develops quantum computers that use neutral atoms trapped by lasers. The company currently serves clients such as Saudi Aramco, LG Electronics, and Crédit Agricole CIB. Pasqal also maintains strategic partnerships with NVIDIA and is a member of the IBM Quantum Network.
