Pasquale La Notte, former general and musical association president, dies

General Pasquale La Notte has passed away, leaving a significant legacy in both the military and cultural sectors of Bisceglie, Italy.

As a military officer, La Notte rose through the ranks of the Italian Army, beginning his career in 1965. His service included significant humanitarian work, such as assisting populations affected by the Friuli earthquake.

In the cultural sphere, he served as the President of the Associazione Amici della Musica – Gran Concerto Bandistico Città di Bisceglie from 1983 to 1994. During his tenure, the musical ensemble experienced a period of revitalization and national recognition. Additionally, La Notte was recognized for his expertise in agriculture, specifically in the production of high-quality extra virgin olive oil, earning European awards for his work.
